Today is the last day when any candidate can withdraw his candidacy from the race of 11th general election scheduled to be held on December 30.
The valid candidate or his representatives can withdraw nomination papers within 5pm on Sunday at the office of returning officers.
Political parties will have to send a letter to the returning officer mentioning the names of their final candidates to contest in the next national polls.
On Monday, the concerned returning officers will allot election symbols to the valid candidates of 300 constituencies.
The formal campaign in favour of the contestants will begin from Monday
